Each one of us has its own method to have beautiful skin, but you should know that no treatment can be effective on skin that is not clean.

Greasy skin:

To simplify, the purifying and cleansing masks are suitable only for oily skin.

Clay and lemon Mask: Mix 2 tablespoons of green clay, ½ lemon juice, 2 drops of essential oil and tea tree to one drop of essential oil of lemon (you can avoid using essential oil kinds)  Apply this recipe on your face, avoid the eye area, leave on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water after that.

Clay and lemon: Clay is antiseptic, rehydrating, soothing, anti-inflammatory and exfoliating, while lemon, is disinfectant, lightening, toning. Both of them  are so effective for oily skin, they give it kind of brightness.

Clay mask and lavender: Add green clay with warm water till you have a soft dough in which you will incorporate 5 drops of lavender essential oil (antiseptic) and 2 drops of rosemary. Apply on your face one thick layer. Let dry and then remove with warm water.

Mask for oily skin: Mix 1 tablespoon of good and fine clay with a little warm water to form a thick paste. Spread and keep 20 minutes. Rinse with hot water and, if you have rose water, you can apply it too.

Masks for the egg: Mix 1 egg yolk and few drops of lemon. Apply, let stand 15 minutes and rinse.

To tighten the pores, apply 1 beaten egg white, spread and keep on for 20 minutes. Then  rinse with warm water.

Another recipe: take 1 beaten egg white mixed with a little lemon juice. Leave on for 15-25 minutes and rinse with warm water at the end.

Compresses thyme: Wrap thyme in a cheesecloth and let it steep in 1 cup of boiling water. Let cool and add 1 drop of essential oil of roses and 1 wheat germ. Apply the mixture for 5 minutes.

Normal skin:

Is there something called normal skin? Yes, children have normal skin which can be described as soft and flawless skin. Unfortunately, childhood is the time of perfect skin. And though you don’t have problems with your skin, though it’s fine and everything is okay with it’s good to take care of it and maintain it from time to time.

Recipes:

Oatmeal masks: Oats masks give freshness and elasticity to the skin. Dilute the oatmeal in lukewarm water, add 1 egg yolk, mix well and spread this paste on a gauze bandage. Apply it on your face including the eyes too, and leave on for 30 minutes, then wash with warm water and rinse with cold water.

for just cleaning: mix 50 g of mixed oatmeal mixed, 2 teaspoons of honey and ¼ of natural yogurt. Leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse well at the end.

Other recipe made with oatmeal: mix 5 or 6 tablespoons of oatmeal and 5 cl of fresh milk. Spread and let for 15 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Makeup Tips:

  • Don’t make the mask over your eyes.
  • Rinse with mineral water or rainwater, they’re healthy.

Peppermint friction: Mix 3 tablespoons of orange-tree leaves water and 1 tablespoon of green clay, heat the mixture on a very low temperature. Remove from heat and add 2 drops of essential oil of peppermint. Cool and apply on your face, let it stand for 15 minutes and then massage with fingertips. Rinse with warm water at the end.

Cleansing cream: Take 2 tablespoons of white clay, add a little water, mix till you get a thick paste. While applying the mixture on the face avoid the eyes area and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water where you’re done.

Toning cream: For a toning effect, mix 2 large tablespoons of brewer’s yeast soup with a little of rose water. Spread and Keep for 25 minutes. Rinse with warm water when you finsh.

Tightening cream: To tighten the skin, mix some natural yogurt, with 1 teaspoon of honey. Spread on face and let for 20 minutes to dry. Remove it with warm water.

Shining: For a shining mask, take 1 tablespoon of natural yogurt, yeast, a little of germ oil and corn. Mix until you have a homogeneous mixture. Apply it and leave it on for 20 minutes before rinsing with water.

Dry skin:

Dry skin needs moisturizing masks that are rich with water and at the same time but nutritious. For this purpose there are many cosmetic products that can fulfil as well as well as grandmas old remedies and recipes. And here are some.

Recipes:

Hydrating honey mask: Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and ½ avocado well. Apply and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and finish with a little orange flower or rose water.

Honey and yogurt mask: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey and much of wheat germ oil, plus 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt. Apply it on your face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with mineral water or rose water when you’re done.

Cucumber mask: Cucumber is found amongst the components of many skin cosmetic products, it is really magical for dry skin. Take ½ cucumber, peel and mush it. Add 4.5 cl of natural yoghurt to obtain a homogeneous cream. Apply the mask and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with water. You can add a little honey in this recipe if you’d like.

Tensor mask: Mix 2 tablespoons of fresh cream and 1 beaten egg white. Leave on 15 minutes and then rinse.

Tightening mask: To tighten the pores of the skin, mix 1 bag of dried yeast with 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Keep this paste on the face for 25 minutes and remove with warm water when you’re done.

Special very dry skin mask: Mix 1 beaten egg white, 1 tablespoon of honey and much wheat germ oil plus 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with mineral water or rose water.

Remedies:

Essential oils: They are components of many high-end cosmetic products. But we cannot highly recommend them. Our favorite ones for dry skin are:

Argan oil ( it’s highly  effective, revitalizing, and it also reduces the brown spots)

Apricot kernels oil (very rich of moisturizing vitamins).

 

Skin Sores

Skin dryness can sometimes turn into sores; in this case apply orange primrose oil, borage and sweet almond all together in compresses.

Safflower oil (so effective for dry skin and it renews its elasticity)

Sweet almond oil (it can be mixed equally with argan oil. (works against  wrinkles)

 

Damaged skin:

The term “damaged” covers a lot of realities: pale skin, is manly dried by the sun and pollution. And among the characteristics of fragile skin, inflammation, redness, tightness, the itching, and there are still probably much more. These skin ailments should be treated   gently and find you should find the right-effective remedy for that.

Here are some effective selected remedies .

Remedies:

Essential oils: To feed your skin, apply everyday soothing plants such as chamomile, iris and rose.

Witch-hazel flower water:  it’s manly used to reduce redness,  it is effective. It tones the small superficial vessels and thus reduces redness.

Masks with milk: For irritated skin, mix 2 tablespoons of flour with a little of raw milk. Apply the mixture as a mask and keep for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and finish with a rose water friction.

For a relaxing mask, mix 2 large spoonfuls of oatmeal in 1 bowl filled with warm milk. Add 1 teaspoon of water rose, a few drops of benzoin tincture. Apply on face, leave on 45 minutes and then rinse well with warm water.

Mask with olive oil: Mix ¼ banana, 1 teaspoon of olive oil and much cucumber fresh juice. Apply for 30 minutes and rinse well with cold water when you’re done.

Soap with honey: Do it yourself with 100 g of grated soap, 250g of honey and 1cl water. Stir well under a low heat till you get a paste, then put it  in small molds.

Practical advice:

Avoid irritating process such as scrubs, exfoliations and harsh soaps. Use thermal water to wash your face. Try to avoid alcohol, coffee, spicy foods.
